Pay Days

Question.  Why did the Teachers Association turn down a pay incentive?  The only negatives I can think of is that of those that teach in underprivileged areas.  These areas are less likely to make the test score.  Then again, some of those students are very smart.  Perhaps some teachers feel that it wouldn’t be fair for someone to make more if they teach the same stuff?

If I teachers teach, and reached the kids, they have done their job, and should be paid for it.  That’s just my opinion though.

What other reasons did the association use in determining their vote?
