Face Lift

The Nashville Airport is getting a face lift.  Ever since the first time I went to an airport I was attracted to the aesthetics they provide.  Not only the environment, but the planes too!

Fascinated by aviation and how planes take off, land, and just how they stay in the air, I’ve always enjoyed going to the airport.

Since 9/11 though I’ve not been able to accompany my family and friends back to the concourse and wait with them or have a drink.  It is somewhat upsetting.

That’s not the point of me writing today.  The point is that our beloved Nashville International is getting a new face.  The project is said to take about 3 years and the construction work will probably not even be noticed.  Well that’s what the officials at the airport hope.

Here is a link to today’s Tennessean about the revamp
