Pride

This weekend was the annual Nashville Pride festival.  As always, my league had a booth to let people know we were out there if anyone wanted to bowl in a primarily gay league.

Anyhow, we had a great time.  We had many bowlers come by and say hi.  People we knew, people we were suppose to know but had forgotten their names (sorry bout that) and met many others.

All in all, it was a great day for a festival.  It really wasn’t that hot, the sun wasn’t beating down on everyone, and there was a little bit of wind.

Until…….A storm blew in.  And blew in it did!100_1109.jpg100_1108.jpg100_1106.jpg100_1105.jpg100_1104.jpg100_1103.jpg100_1102.jpg

The storm came in so quickly, you never seen so many running for shelter.   It was a ton of fun.

Unfortunately I’m told some damage was done at the park.  A few trees were blown over and there were some campers on display that had their awnings torn off.

Good to meet you the other night at Flying Saucer! About the storm, did you happen to catch my account of it on Metroblogging? It freaked me the hell out. 🙂

    Take care!
